Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal is hearty, warm, easy and can be made in advance.  There’s nothing better for an early fall breakfast.

  • 2 Cups Rolled Oats
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ Cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • ¼ Cups Butter, melted
  • 1 Egg
  • Cups Unsweetened Applesauce
  • 1 Cup Milk


  • Lightly grease an 8x8 baking dish.  Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Mix all ingredients together in a medium sized mixing bowl.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.  Smooth it out evenly
  • Bake uncovered for 50-60 minutes at 350 degrees until oatmeal is dried out with just a bit of crust over the top.


Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal lasts 4-5 days in the refrigerator.  It can be frozen and reheated for use.  This dish can be served hot or cold.
